BBT is is involved in a number of activities that are dedicated to holistic development towards the vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society but its not only holistic development but also other social and physical development areas of life.
CHILD CARE
BBT, by the grace of God and the kindness of his people increased the sponsored children to 1331 in Southern Uganda and 501 children in the war-stricken Northern Uganda bringing it to a total of 1832 sponsored children by the year 2008. We still have 900 vulnerable orphaned children 200 of them being orphans of deceased Pastors and Church Leaders. Their widowed mothers cannot take care of them. They need our immediate support.

FISHERS OF MEN PERMANENT SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (FOMPSOM)
It was way back in 1991 when God challenged Alex Mitala to evaluate the work done since 1974 when he had first began preaching the gospel and planting Churches. He discovered that the majority seekers had been turned into proffessional converts than Disciples of Christ!! He realised through the revelation of the Holy Spirit to start a Training School/Bible College for Pastors and Church Leaders. FOMPSON is a Bible training Initiative taking on 100 Church Leaders and Pastors per training for 40days. The training is done four times at different dates in order to finish the course. Iits a very intensive training and is in a boarding setting style where students have to stay there till they are through with their training. From the time of its inception in 1991, FOMPSON has trained over 600 Pastors and Church Leaders. FOMPSON provides 31 bibilical lessons divided into 4different courses covering the following areas.
- Systematic Bibilical Doctrines
- Church Leadership and Administration
- Church Planting based on Kingdom transformation approach
- Family development and Ethical discipleship
- Church and Common Sense
- African Traditional Religions,Cults and the Holy Bible
- Bible Practice
- Child/Youth Care Ministries
Above are some of our graduates plus the Academic Staff of FOMPSOM. Currently our intake has also increased to 150per intake.It is our prayer that we get to build our own structure to house this important project. This school of ministry has promoted among other things;Proper Church Administration in Newly planted Churches,Christian Sound Doctrine,Scriptural-Based Family Development,Hardwork and Common Sense among Gospel Ministers.
YOUTH OUTREACH
BBT Youth Ministry is going strong, encouraging young people to accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Saviour. Promoting Abstinence,HIV/AIDS Awareness,Behavior Change Campaigns,and encouraging the young people to be self-reliant are some of the many activities we do and programs we have among the youth. Apparently the Youth Department has a partnership with Break Down Youth Initiative from the USA. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS
BBT "WOMEN OF SIGNIFICANCE",the Women's Department led by Mrs.Catherine Mitala has embarked on the great work of awakening,encouraging and training Church Leaders wives. Hundreds of Church Leaders' wives have been trained through the 75 training centers in different districts of Uganda where they gather on given dates to entensively study the Bible by going through over 160 Bible Women. EVANGELISM, SOUL-WINNING AND GOSPEL CRUSADES
BBT practical Evangelistic approach has started bearing fruits. Many people have given their lives to Christ through our Urban-Rural Evangelistic Campaigns. Over 200 children in our Good Samaritan School have given their lives to Christ openly before their fellow students.
